Clinicians are our most demanding clients and also our easiest conversations. They know what a care plan should contain, they can read a medication chart, and they are not reassured by warmth alone.
They also know the limits. A PHSRC-registered nurse in Sri Lanka works to Sri Lankan scope and Sri Lankan protocols, not to a New York State licence. We will tell you plainly what a placement can and cannot cover clinically, and when a hospital is the right answer instead.
If your parent has a complex regimen, bring the discharge summary and the medication list to the assessment. Clinically trained families usually have both to hand, and it makes the resulting care plan considerably better than one built from a phone conversation.

Two windows work. Very early morning in New York catches the Sri Lankan evening, and late night here catches their morning. Everything between is your parents' night.

How much does home care in Sri Lanka cost?
A one-time annual membership covers coordination, payroll and unlimited caregiver replacements. Daily rates then apply by staff role, from caregiver through to registered nurse. Rates appear below, and the free assessment always comes first.
Will my long-term care policy reimburse this?
Possibly. Some US policies include an international benefit paying a percentage of the daily rate. We supply written care plans, shift records, credentials and itemized invoices; your carrier decides what it accepts.
Can two of us receive the updates?
Yes, and in New York we recommend it. With most of the family asleep during the Sri Lankan day, a second named recipient means a decision does not wait for whoever is on shift to check their phone.
Where the care actually happens
Island-wide coverage in Sri Lanka.
We coordinate from Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte, adjacent to Colombo, and place caregivers anywhere on the island including Kandy, Galle, Negombo, Matara and Jaffna.
Distance from the capital does not alter the daily rate. Given how much travel a New York family would have to do to verify anything themselves, we keep the pricing structure deliberately flat and the documentation deliberately thorough.

No. Medicare generally does not pay for healthcare received outside the United States, and Medicaid is administered by state for domestic care. Some long-term care insurance policies do include an international benefit, which is worth checking with your carrier.
